In honor of International Women's Day and Endometriosis Awareness Month, Zinc VC hosted a special screening of Below the Belt: The Last Health Taboo, a powerful documentary that aims to shine a light on critical issues within our healthcare systems that disproportionately impact women.

Below the Belt follows the emotional and challenging journeys of four patients as they search for answers to their unexplained symptoms. The film tackles societal taboos, gender bias, misinformed healthcare professionals, and the financial barriers many women face. It exposes the widespread silencing of women's health issues and advocates for systemic changes to ensure equitable healthcare for all.

We are incredibly proud that our own Dr. Cristina Fernández Molina and Dr. Cemsel Bafligil Suomi participated as panelists in the discussion following the screening. For us, this event was deeply significant. It was an opportunity to raise awareness and spark important conversations about women's health. We hope that through events like this, we can inspire action and contribute to creating a more just and effective healthcare system for everyone.
